Buster

Buster is a true multi-purpose boat. Due to different interior layouts and factory installed equipment options it is well suited for daytrips, cruising, fishing, water sports and other hobbies. A Buster also serves as a workhorse for light professional use and heavy commuting. Our design has always been guided by uncompromising goals regarding ruggedness, everyday practicality and seaworthiness. These values, combined with generations of industrial, hand crafted traditions has created a quality level that is already carries a legacy of it’s own: Buster. AHT – Aluminium Hull Technolgy by Buster is living proof of the experience and relentless work spanning 60 years that we have committed to in order to make our boats ever better.

Buster Phantom

The Buster Phantom with its imperial 32 feet / 9.5metre LOA, 700hp twin Yamaha outboards, 16 roaring cylinders and 400nM range redefines the premium civilian aluminium open boat segment. However, the effects of gravity and wave action are counterbalanced through the silky smooth ride of the hull, together with suspension seats for up to five passengers. Did we mention that the new Buster Phantom is also blisteringly quick? Despite its speed potential, the Phantom is amazingly quiet. Options abound, and the huge U sofa aft, combined with the cockpit table and two swivelling fixed seats, allow for socialising with friends and family.

Buster SuperMagnum

The new SuperMagnum replaces two models in the range: its predecessor from 2013 and also the Magnum M5. The boat size is notably bigger than before, with a hull that is a good 50 cm longer and the waterline 30 cm wider. With the U-shaped seat that comes as standard, the boat seats 10 persons.

“The SuperMagnum is a worthy successor to both of its preceding models. While we have paid a lot of attention to performance, we have managed to avoid compromising on basic safety and predictable handling characteristics,” Kurtén says.

The SuperMagnum's largest engine choice is Yamaha’s most powerful V8 engine, the 5.3-litre F350, that generates a top speed of 57 knots. The power range is extensive, from 250 hp up. The vast fuel tank with a capacity of 400 litres guarantees a long range.

The choice of engine clearly affects the nature of the boat. With lower engine ratings, up to the 300-hp V6 model, the SuperMagnum is a great fit for everyday boating, and despite its larger-than-before dimensions, fuel consumption remains at the level of its predecessors. However, with the largest engine rating – the V8 Yamaha F350 – an experienced helmsman can make the boat go fast even in challenging circumstances.

It’s suitable for year-round boating, but is naturally a competent choice also for demanding leisure boaters. Driving is facilitated by the optional electro-hydraulic power steering system.

With the Magnum M5, you will not be overtaken often, and the best thing is that there is no need to slow down even if the weather deteriorates. Buster Magnum E

The Buster Magnum E is an uncompromising trendsetter. We have harnessed 50 years of experience, and the insights gained from building 5,000 Magnums towards introducing a worthy, GRP-decked member into the royal echelons of aluminium boats – the Buster Magnum family. Innovations like true walk-through bow and aft sections, single grip door opening/closing mechanism between the consoles, the largest bathing platforms in its category and quick draining cockpit make this boat unique. Buster Magnum

The fourth-generation Buster Magnum is clearly larger than its predecessor: Hull length has been increased by 30 cm and inside width by 20 cm. With its modern and sleek design, the newcomer strongly resembles its bigger sister model, the Phantom.

“The new Magnum has the feel of a large boat, and its handling characteristics are clearly better than before thanks to the new hull design and the relocation of the centre of gravity further back. The more pointed form of the hull and the three pairs of aggressively shaped lifting strakes add to the performance, making the boat really fun to drive,” Anders Kurtén says.

The lowest engine rating has been increased to the next level, 175 hp. The Magnum's largest engine choice is the 225-hp Yamaha V6, able to generate a top speed of 47 knots. Fuel tank capacity has been almost doubled to 300 litres to substantially extend the range of the boat per a full tank of fuel.

Thanks to the economical hull shape and the lifting strakes, the boat performs at the same level as its predecessor with the same engine power, although it is longer and also slightly heavier. The maximum number of persons is eight, just as before.

Buster M

The new Buster M has the same sleek look as its smaller sister model, the Buster S. Owing to the contemporary hull design, the boat interiors are clearer than before, and particularly the bow area now offers more space for hauling goods and fishing.

The Buster M has been designed as a multi-functional boat for many purposes: It is well-suited for short-distance travel, fishing in coastal waters and family boating trips. The boat is easy to handle and transport also with the car on a light unbraked trailer. The cockpit area features rainwater drainage.

The standard equipment of the twin-console version includes the Buster Q smart display with the charts, and this can be complemented with the highly accurate Raymarine Fishfinder as well as with the Entertainment package featuring loudspeakers.

The single-console version is sold without the Buster Q smart display. This basic multi-purpose leisure boat has plenty of deck space available for supplies. The large cockpit area offers ample free space for a variety of activities including fishing.

The engine options for the new Buster M are the light-weight and powerful Yamaha F30 and F40 outboards. With the all-new hull, the boat gets on plane better than before also when under load. The boat’s top speed is about 26 knots with the highest engine rating.

The standard equipment of the twin-console Buster M includes the 10” Buster Q smart display, twin consoles including windshields, lockable storage compartment, cockpit area with rainwater drainage, rod box and Yamaha’s Y-COP remote security system. Optional accessories include an additional bow railing, watersports bracket, mooring canopy, steering console canopy featuring a door set between the consoles and the Q Fishfinder sonar. The rod box is also available for the single-console version as an optional accessory.

Buster Mini sport

The small and sporty Buster Mini Sport is a new, redesigned version of the Buster Mini, the smallest boat in the Buster range. The steering console and the larger engine rating make the nifty Buster Mini well-suited for short-distance travel or younger boaters’ first console boat.

While the regular Buster Mini is designed for a power range of 2–8 hp and also works excellently with an electric outboard motor, the Mini Sport has been certified for the Yamaha F9.9 engine that generates impressive torque and powers the small craft into running speeds of well over 20 knots.

The completely aluminium-built boat is buoyant and safe. The patented easy-to-use EasyBail drainage system adds to user comfort. The steering console features ample mounting space for a chart plotter and/or fish sonar where necessary. A windshield is available for the steering console as an optional accessory.

As the Mini Sport only weighs slightly over 160 kg including the engine, you will find it an easy one to handle both on shore and on the boat trailer. Thanks to its rigid and tough aluminium construction, the Mini Sport is a durable boat despite its small weight and almost maintenance-free. For autumn maintenance, the hull only needs to be washed with water. The Yamaha F9.9 engine can be lifted off the transom single-handedly, and with the engine removed, the Mini Sport can be lifted out of the water for winterisation by two adults.
